Piper Enterprise Solutions is currently looking for a Software Engineer to be a part of an enterprise level data collaboration platform company. The Software Engineer will be responsible for engineering high resiliency systems to scale in a team environment. This position is a 100% remote role. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in software development/engineering with 3,000+ Transactions per second and/or experience with high resiliency systems.
Responsibilities of Software Engineer include:
Designing and implementing a cloud-based architecture at the core of the company's data platform
Working with two teams (15 people) distributed throughout the world
Leveraging Lambdas and other services for system development
Influencing overall vision of company's offering by collaborating with product and design teams to create suits of products to help customers manage large volumes of real-time data
Qualification of Software Engineer include:
8+ years of experience in software development in an engineering role
Strong understanding of cloud systems at scale
Experience in programming languages: Rust, Python, Go, and C#.
Familiarity with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB), serverless AWS services (Lambda, Gateway, Cognito) or equivalent on Azure
Experience with 3,000+ Transactions per second and/or experience with high resiliency systems
Compensation for Software Engineer include:
Annual Salary Expectations: $180,000 - $190,000
